This database provides basic chemical properties and preparations for organic compounds. Beilstein is seachable in multiple ways, including chemcial structure, formula, and physical property parameters. Beilsein indexes periodicals, books, disserations, and patents. Online access to Beilstein is provided in the Computational Chemistry and Molecular Modelling Laboratory (CCMML).
BAS provides citations to Western-language journal articles that deal with the countries and civilizations of East, Southeast and South Asia or with the overseas Asian communities in North America, Europe and elsewhere in the world. Coverage begins in 1971. Book citations are available from 1971-1991. Users looking for books published since 1992 should consult LINK+, Melvyl, or WorldCAT.

Directories of publishing opportunities in journals relating to accounting, economics and finance, management, marketing, educational curriculum and methods, and psychology. To further assist you in organizing and preparing your manuscripts, the Directory includes extensive information on the style and format of most journals. If a journal has its own set of manuscript guidelines, a copy of these guidelines is published in the Directory. Also, each entry indicates the use of a standard set of publication guidelines by a journal. Create a list of journal titles for which the table of contents will be sent to you each time a new issue is available, or enter searches that will be run automatically on a weekly basis against the entire Ingenta journal collection of 20,000 titles. The online catalog to all 9 UC campuses, MELVYL provides a guide to over 12 million records. MELVYL is an excellent catalog to supplement using Polycat if materials cannot be found at Cal Poly. Database commands are available and helpful to print out for first time users. MELVYL uses subject headings from the Library of Congress. A list of these subject headings is located in the Reference Department on the 1st floor. If relevant records are found that are not held by the Kennedy Library, request titles through the online Interlibrary Loan service.

Treesearch is an online system for locating and delivering publications by Research and Development scientists in the USDA Forest Service. Publications in the collection include research monographs published by the agency as well as papers written by our scientists but published by other organizations in their journals, conference proceedings, or books. Research results behind these publications have been peer reviewed to ensure the best quality science.
The Telegram-Tribune index allows searching of thousands of articles from 1990 to 2002. The Simple Search interface enables searching by keywords from the title of the article or by proper name. With the Advanced Search interface, limitations can be made by specific subject headings and date ranges.
