Academic Search Premier provides full text for over 4,650 periodicals covering the social sciences, humanities, general science, multi-cultural studies, education, etc.
America, History and Life (AHL) is a database of bibliographic citations and article abstracts on the history and culture of the United States and Canada from prehistoric times to present. It cites articles that were published in 1964 or later and that come from more than 2,000 journals published in more than 40 languages. Paper indexes, 1954-1993 are also available in Meriam Library's Index Collection (second floor)
Historical Abstracts presents historical coverage of the world from 1450 to the present (excluding the United States and Canada, which are covered in America: History and Life). Published since 1954, it currently covers over 2,000 journals published throughout the world. All abstracts are written in English and are edited for clarity and precision. In addition to articles, each year Historical Abstracts includes approximately 3,000 citations to historical books as reviewed by the most prestigious journals in the field and citations to abstracts of dissertations.
JSTOR is a not-for-profit organization with a dual mission to create and maintain a trusted archive of important scholarly journals, and to provide access to these journals as widely as possible. Content in JSTOR spans many disciplines, primarily in the humanities and social sciences.
